Week 2 ::: Group Project Presentations | teem awsum vs U fail

ok, so far there are some *awsum* concepts emerging from this project.

On Monday between 11am-1pm Group A and Group B will present their concepts.
This is to be a professional presentation ~ it constitutes your pitch for the job. Formal but fun; highly visual; and once again - professional!

Each group will present 3 concepts for a crossmedia fictional world to the entire class.

Some suggestions on what to include in your presentation:
- name and brief synopsis for each concept
- references: to clarify your idea, indicate visual style, samples of sound
- without developing the entire project, describe the experience and what may happen
- sample of gameplay / narrative
- details of proposed characters, locations, situations, media elements etc.

After the presentations, Mark and I will select a concept for each group.

Then, things will really start to get interesting...

countdown ::: 4 weeks to go until cardboard mayhem

Cardboard mayhem on Sunday 2nd August!

Hope everyone has been having a lovely 'break'... as you all know we have an opportunity to build something for open day. This time we have a budget too...

So, a quick recap on the details:
- based on Mr. Kent's exhibition design: 'Alister in Wonderland'
- building an environment from cardboard, sound, light and projections
- focus on making modular elements from cardboard that may be reused for Handmade UV
- experimental play ~ we are hiring a computer-controlled light as well...
- think of the Open Day audience and space we are working with

Anyone want to set up a blog for this one?
