MM&DA Exhibition concepts

Felicia : Unfolding
Unfolding box projected into an installation space constructed to allow the animation to appear on many different surfaces.

Shane : UV
A space that changes with time as layers of street art appear and disappear. Motion graphic displaying students and their work. Harmonic 313: Dirtbox.

Alister : Alister in Wonderland
Images of students talking about their work projected onto floating 3D shapes. Their work is projected onto multiple surfaces in the space.

Jordan : Virtual Space
'It's called virtual space because it is something about ... virtual'
'Details of the character chosen will be displayed here' (!)

Melissa : Reflections
Beautiful stuff projected into spaces with mirrors making a trippy space.

Remi : Wen
Pattern and colour of fire and water clouds projected onto floor, walls and ceiling that eventually take the form of a dragon.

Helen C : Growth
Characters of students using gobo projectors and animation to show the students growth during their study.

Twinsen : A Little Box
The audience is inside a giant box and people are looking inside from a hole in the ceiling. Freaky.

Helen Z : To drown within multimedia
R-space with lots of boxes and little things to look at and collect. Square space; relaxing atmosphere; cosy and relaxing. Black, grey & white. Interactive display.

Venus : Our workspace
The exhibition is set up like a home workspace. Different work environments are projected into small rooms displaying snacks, photos and other sources of inspiration.

Julianne : Emergence
Mad labratory with a surgical feel juxtaposed with cocoons made from 3D patterns of plastic and paper. There are specimen jars each with a single student inside... foetus ultrasound animation...

Jim : Colourful Pyramid
Series of spaces lead the audience through an environment featuring abstract animation of colourful pyramids moving to downbeat electronica.

Vi : Design's Heartbeat
An ECG for each student displaying their software skills and expertise may be selected via an interface. Layers of bleeps and blops play in the background.

Bec : Blank Space
Tapestries with fabric/vector motion graphics projected onto them inside an illuminated exhibition space.
